Dr. Rebecca Padro
Veterinarian
Dr. Rebecca Padro was born in Michigan in the same year that her father graduated from veterinary school. She grew up in Plymouth Meeting with a myriad of pets including dogs, cats, gerbils, horses, fish, lizards, and a snake. As a teenager, her first job was working at Montgomery Animal Hospital in the boarding kennel. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in biopsychology from Boston College, Dr. Padro lived in Portland, Oregon before returning to the East Coast to attend the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Padro has been practicing since 2004 and has worked in Pennsylvania, Manhattan, and New Jersey. She rejoined Montgomery Animal Hospital in February 2016. Dr. Padro loves to travel and has been all over the United States as well as destinations in Europe, Africa, South America and Southeast Asia. She lives in Ambler with her husband, Miguel, and two children, Wesley and Josephine. They currently own a miniature poodle named Chevy.

Dr. Amy Marks
Veterinarian
Dr. Amy Marks was born and raised in southeastern Pennsylvania. There were always a wide variety of pets in her household as she was growing up, including cats, dogs, hamsters, fish, rabbits, turtles, and birds. She pursued her veterinary passion early in life by working first as a kennel attendant in high school and then as a veterinary assistant through college.
Dr. Marks graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Ursinus College. She then attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She has worked as a small animal veterinarian since her graduation in 2008. She especially enjoys preventative medicine, behavior, dentistry, internal medicine, and endocrinology. Her personal interests include flower gardening, cooking, and travel. She and her husband have 3 rescued cats.

Dr. Louise LaNunziata
Veterinarian
Dr. Louise LaNunziata has been practicing small animal medicine in the greater Philadelphia area since 2007. Her professional interests include surgery, orthopedics, and preventative medicine. She attended college at the University of Delaware where she graduated with degrees in animal science and biology. She studied veterinary medicine at Ross University on the Caribbean island of St. Kitts and graduated in 2007 after externships at the University of Missouri and University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. LaNunziata grew up in Northeastern Pennsylvania with an amazingly supportive family. Her outside interests include Phillies baseball, baking, playing sports, and traveling. When not working, she loves spending time with her husband, two wonderful children, and two awesome cats; a ragdoll named Gizmo and an orange tabby named Zelda.
